Welcome to autumn! With the weather changing daily, even hourly, you never know what to expect. Wear a sweater, take off the jacket… Stay serious and in the office, or sneak a kick through gorgeous fall leaves as you walk across the quad. It’s a season of change and I’m enjoying the unknown that awaits. I don’t relish the unknown quite as much when it comes as an unpleasant surprise – having your child check in, telling you they’re alright – when you don’t even know there could be something wrong. But with Lebanon & Syria as our northern friends and Gaza as our southern neighbor, you never know. We got a reality check last night, personally and nationally, as we tried to allow goods and services into Gaza in a humane gesture to terrorists who seem to be hell bent on destroying their own people’s lives in an attempt to ruin ours.
